Igreja de Santo Ildefonso

Igreja de Santo Ildefonso is one of Porto’s most beautiful churches. This tile-covered church was constructed between 1724 and 1730 in proto-baroque style. Blue tiles by Jorge Colaço (1932) on the church walls depict scenes from the life of St. Ildefonso and allegories from the Eucharist.
